Welcome

Welcome to The Hayes Primary School, where together we aspire to be the best we can be.

Welcome to The Hayes Primary School, a caring and inclusive school at the heart of our community. We are proud of the high-quality education we provide and of the positive outcomes our children achieve. Our core purpose is to ensure that every pupil receives an ambitious, well-structured education that enables them to succeed academically, socially and personally. In short, we inspire children to be the best they can be.

At The Hayes, children are at the heart of everything we do. We hold the highest expectations for all pupils and believe that every child, regardless of background or starting point, can achieve well when supported by excellent teaching, a carefully sequenced curriculum and a strong culture of aspiration. Our curriculum is broad, balanced and inclusive, designed to build secure knowledge, develop key skills and foster a lifelong love of learning. Learning at The Hayes is purposeful, engaging and carefully planned to ensure strong progression over time.

We place great importance on pupils’ personal development and well-being. Our values of respect, responsibility, empathy, cooperation, positivity and tolerance are embedded throughout daily school life and help children develop confidence, resilience and positive attitudes to learning. Safeguarding is a priority, and we work diligently to ensure that all pupils feel safe, valued and supported in order to thrive.

Our dedicated and highly skilled staff team work collaboratively to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs. Teaching is underpinned by strong subject knowledge, effective assessment and timely support, ensuring that no child is left behind. Alongside academic achievement, we provide rich opportunities in sport, the performing arts and wider enrichment, enabling pupils to discover their strengths and develop their talents.

We recognise that education is a partnership between school and home and value the positive relationships we build with parents and carers. By working together, we ensure that children are happy, confident and well-prepared for the next stage of their education.

I am immensely proud to be Headteacher of The Hayes Primary School and to work alongside such a dedicated staff team, supportive families and wonderful children. I hope this website gives you a clear insight into our school, the high standards we strive to achieve, and the nurture, care and support that define who we are.

A very warm welcome awaits you at The Hayes.
